Statement:

I paint with oils and use buildings and skylines for my subject matter. The steep angles that I find intriguing and the contrast between the large sky and the houses creates finished works that leave a person with a sense of drama. I also enjoy adding surface pattern to the buildings. Tattooing the blank surfaces with henna patterns gives another layer of curiosity to the finished work.

Along with my larger paintings, I also try to paint daily. Small still life images keep my mind sharp and allow me to have smaller, more affordable original works to sell.
