These photographs come from two different portfolios. In one, "Botanical Regenerations," I was interested in capturing the continual biological cycle—the time between fruition and regeneration by concentrating primarily on found seed pods.

In the second portfolio, "Daylight Savings," I tried to revive some of my fond memories of summer, the mysteries, the magic and wonder. The mercurial perfectness and finite preciousness of August, or August as a state of mind.

Currently I am working on a project called "Corn Dogs and Blue Ribbons" driven by a curiosity of how so many disparate elements exist in harmony—all at the same time—against a wonderful backdrop of gleeful screams, bells and whistles and the aroma of fried dough mixed with the pungent essence of livestock and exotic poultry.
