Bio:

Andrew Fish grew up in a Vermont print shop and received his formal training in New York City as an artist assistant and art gallery employee. Fish was an art handler and administrative assistant at various alternative and commercial art galleries throughout the 1990’s. He attended School of Visual Arts where he learned drawing from Jack Potter and painting from Marilyn Minter and Don Eddy. Fish also worked as a Resident Assistant at the Governor’s Institute on the Arts in VT. He currently lives in Somerville MA where he exhibits and sells work regularly. He is also an education technology specialist and a musician.
